by Anita Wadley"},"content":{"rendered":"<address style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Just Playing<\/strong><\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">&nbsp;<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When I am building in the block room,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Please don\u2019t say I\u2019m \u201cJust&nbsp;Playing.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">About balance and shapes.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Who knows, I may be an an architect someday.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When I am getting all dressed up,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Setting the table, caring for the babies,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Don\u2019t get the idea I\u2019m \u201cJust&nbsp;Playing.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I\u2019m expressing myself and being creative.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I may be an artist or an inventor someday.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When you see me sitting in a chair<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">\u201cReading\u201d to an imaginary audience,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Please don\u2019t laugh and think I\u2019m \u201cJust&nbsp;Playing.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I may be a teacher someday.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When you see me combing the bushes for bugs,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Or packing my pockets with choice things I find,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Don\u2019t pass it off as \u201cJust&nbsp;Play.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I may be a scientist someday.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When you see me engrossed in a puzzle or some<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">\u201cplaything\u201d at my school,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Please don\u2019t feel that time is wasted in \u201cPlay.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I\u2019m learning to solve problems and concentrate.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I may be in business some day.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When you see me cooking or tasting foods,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Please don\u2019t think that because I enjoy it, it is \u201cJust&nbsp;Play.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I\u2019m learning to follow directions and see differences.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I may be a cook someday.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When you see me learning to skip, hop, run, and move my body,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Please don\u2019t say I\u2019m \u201cJust&nbsp;Playing.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I\u2019m learning how my body works.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I may be a doctor, nurse, or athlete someday.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">When you ask me what I\u2019ve done at school today,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">And I say, I \u201cJust&nbsp;played.\u201d<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Please don\u2019t misunderstand me.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">For, you see, I\u2019m learning as I play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I\u2019m learning to enjoy and be successful at my work,<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">I\u2019m preparing for tomorrow.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\">Today, I am a child and my work is play.<\/address>\n<address style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Anita Wadley<\/strong><\/address>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just Playing &nbsp;
