Today’s Table for Two is the spiritual practice of fasting. A traditional fast is to not eat for a certain period of time. Think through a typical day. What do you do often? Eat. Check your phone. Scroll through social media. Choose one thing you do often to fast from for the weekend. (Like drinking a Coke, eating snacks, checking social media, etc.) Each time you crave this one thing pray. Talk to God about your need and dependence on Him to sustain you.
